Says it all really.

Watching paint dry was more fun at times in the day. The evenings and nights were good which was a laugh though.

I was so fucked last night after pushing the cars out, the mud had dried up today though so it was pretty easy to get out.

I wanted to see huge pileups down the hill Sad

lol, I know, the title put me off at first cause I'm not a fan of 'rock' and 'custom' stuff. BUT, it was one of the largest BCF meets so it sound like a laugh.

Got out no problems, mud had more or less totally gone, people generally flying about on bikes from 6am (not leaving just riding around!)

Not long after Kev et al had left we all more of less went down to the main area and went on the bungie ball and big f'off swinging thing (which Hannah came off looking quite white and Goose wasn't much better Laughing )

Still all hada good night last night I think.

It was great fun 'pushing' your car out of the field rophead Very Happy It basically consisted of hanging onto your car while being dragged along in the mud Very Happy

I had a brilliant time and look forward to the next big meet Very Happy

The whole point about the Rock and Blues is to meet and chat with new and old people, see whats happening in the arena (the stunt show was interesting in the wet) look at the custom bikes and chat about them to their makers and chill out to the music which is rock based and have a good laugh in the evening. This was achieved by most.

It was a shame that it wasn't sunny as the 'chillin' and sunbathing last year would probably be more some of your cups of tea.

I also have some good names of colours that I could paint the v raptor.

I really look forward to seeing the regular R&B goers there next year!

Well, i had a bloody good time anyway. Cool
...Despite the fact I caught the plague of Friday, so left me slightly dopey most of the weekend. Sad ..and despite returning home with a bizarrely bruised arse, where i was slapped so much over the weekend. Confused ... And having painfully sore ribs as i got completely stuck in hysterical mode for 2 hours on saterday night.
Despite the pain and mud it was still all worthwhile ! Cool
So Rolling Eyes to all you negative lot!!

A few comments....Rolling Eyes

1. Rock and Blues is what is says it is on the tin. If its not liked by all, then hopefully the social side of the event shines through.

2. Its a festival. We live in Britain. We should expect rain, and vast amounts of muddyness.

3. We rarely get together as a big group, and RnB/BdB is really the only opportunity for us lot to do that.

Simple as!
Wink

Let's put it this way if I hadn't gone I prolly wouldn't have regretted it much. Otherwise, when we were /actually/ doing something it was fun, saturday night was definately the best where we spent most of it down near the stage and on the amusements Very Happy
