Feel free to use this thread to ask about ideas yourself…..

I have a quick one, probably the ladies can help out.

This year my family is doing secret Santa, our family has grown and there are 4 extra members, two children, two husbands.
I am buying for one of my sisters who has had a little girl.
Now I probably will by her a little something but I was thinking about what to get for my sister.

Should I get her anything for her daughter, or would she really appreciate something just for her?

Get something for her, and a little something seperate for the daughter if you want to. Just because she's now a mother doesn't mean that should be labelled as her only interest from now on.

The only presents I'm happy with so far are the sloe gin I've had slowly 'brewing' since September for my Dad (I snuck a teaspoonful - it's bloody gorgeous) and the JD door poster I picked up for my brother in a half price poster sale at uni.

Otherwise I'm a bit flummoxed this year. Neutral

Killa, get something that is very specifically for her and not her daughter. Something that she can pamper herself with. Maybe something like a pampering kit from Boots (not very original, but cheap) and include a 'voucher' for a free night's babysitting.

Yeah something to spoil herself would be cool....

I've seen some made up sets on Ebay, but i have no idea if they are any good. Boots sounds like a good bet.

Boots for the bargain or if you want to spend a little more to make it really special I'd recommend Molton Brown.

edit: another alternative is an actual day, here's one in Cheltenham

Check out Lush

I would advise you go to a shop - as ordering from them online at this time of the year is a little hit and miss - as they get so busy Very Happy [/url]

Only that long? We have some in the cellar was made in 1998. Should probably be ready this christmas. Very Happy

As for Killa - I had a similar thing last Christmas. My sister had just had her first child. I ended up getting her a nice necklace, and then getting some toys and things for Thomas.

What can I get my grandad?

Few things he likes/dislikes.

1. He buys all his own clothes so he said no clothes. He is very vein and still think he's young, can be seen in Jumpin Jaks from time to time Sick

2. Supports Crystal palace..

3. Collects all kinds of baseball caps Laughing Got him a nice red ducati one last and have not seen him wear it Sad

So any idea's to help this old tight git?
