I have a 1995 CBR600F and it aways takes several tries to get her to start. The strange thing is I can't use any coke at all, it's almost like even the smallest amount of choke is flooding her or something.

Any ideas (I've very very little mechanical knowledge!)

Pouring coke in wont help at all Laughing

Your battery could be on the way out (it needs all the power it can get, +since its cold and the battery is less efficient in the cold and the oil is tougher to push through cause its colder, all these add up)

I got a can of wet start and gave the ht leads a blast and its fixed the iffy starting on my bike so thats another thing to try out, specially if it lives outdoors..

If you use choke and it flood the engine, it shows that your sparking system is not working well.

1. Battery
2. Dry test spark plug
3. Spark timing
