for me it's the "nod" that bikers give to each other, signifying that your in a one of a kind group

A legitimate excuse to wear tight black leather in a pub with other guys wearing the same.

the best description is off the rat bike website, im sure its in someones sig aswell

'' Sure - they use less fuel than cars, and motorcycles are easier to maneuver, park etc. But, deep down, the True Secret is: Motorcycles Are Fun. That's it! That's why we ride them, all the rest is just so much rationalizing. ''

*cue TOTP music*

At this week's number 10 - tax for 50 quid and 50mpg - it's motoring on a shoestring.

A new entry at number 9 - it's more convenient than getting the underground to the office.

Falling to number 8 - you get to walk around town in all your biker gear looking cool.

At 7 this week - get off your bike and on to your high horse because you're taking up less road and causing less pollution than all the car drivers out there.

Climbing to 6 - one for the Londoners - forget about that pasky congestion charge - it's free to you guvnah!

At this week's 5 - the fact that you can buy a machine that does 0-60 faster than any car without a prancing horse on the bonnet for under a grand.

A non-mover at 4 - chicks dig bikers.

Straight in at number 3 - you're a member of the world's best club. Welcome to the clique my friend.

Holding firm at number 2 - cutting through long lines of cars during the rush hour. See those miserable faces staring back at you and praise the deity of biking that you're not one of them.

And still at number 1 - every time I ride my face aches from all the grinning. It's just so much fun. Funnnnnn. With a capital F dammit.

personally i just love that feeling as I crack the throttle open in first or second & the front wheel gently floats above the floor as you wind on some more power... whether it be pulling out to overtake something, or pulling away from a standstill, or just pulling out of a corner or roundabout there's just nothing that beats the feeling of winding on the throttle & the bike just surging forward like a piano falling off a cliff... amongst a massive list of other things i love about my bike & riding it... this is up there!!! i lurve it!!!!!!

The adrenaline is probably a big factor for me, it can however drive you to ride like dangermouse but if you keep it under control it isn't so bad Twisted Evil
