What have I missed?

That's a beautiful bike, why are you selling?

What are you getting instead?

this guy likes to change bikes frequently, but usually each time, he takes it to another level.

how can he beat the ducati ?

if its something even more expensive than the ducati, i think he will have to start robbing banks

or maybe the ducati isnt practical to ride in winter, and he needs the cash and is gonna get something else in warmer weather

i am just as curious as al

He got a new alumium sub-frame from ducati, and might still have the steel one they gave him too l think. it only snapped due to the weight of the painers apart from that problem that was sorted its a mint bike thats he,s looked after quite well considering whats happened to his last few bikes.

Selling it because mainly the insurance is too high, basically last time i insured it i haggled a 'special deal' same for the gixxer750, so even though i now have 2 years NCB its still £1400 TPFT to re-insure.
Its never broken down, and its been service accordingly.
My next bike i havent decieded yet. most likely a litre bike of some sort.
I already have a car and have had since september so im not selling it for that either.

Nah wouldnt get an MV, im after a new type thou so if i was going to get a blade it would be a 1000RR but im not keen on that.
A 1098 would be nice, i would have got one, there was rumour of them going for under 9.5k which would have been great, but sadly its going to be the same as the 999 which is 11,250ish according to Pro twins.

1098 £11,250
1098 S £13,995
1098 S Tricolour £15,995

Insurance group is apparently the same as the 999.

Ducatis are actually not all that expensive to insure, as generally speaking, they don't feature very highly in the most stolen bikes list. My Monster is £202 fully comp and I could get the 999 fully comp for about a grand, and that's without any NCB.
