I don't agree.

Why should these women be expected to put up with violence and murder just because they're prostitutes?

Nobody should have to put up with abuse like that, regardless of how 'shady' your occupation.

I was wondering how long it would take for the papers to have the word "Ripper" on the front page.

Yeah, and all women on their own after dark are just begging to be raped, eh? Rolling Eyes

I think it's a pity that prostitution is illigal in this country, it means that these women are vulnerable and open to abuse. They are clearly providing a desired service, so why can't they provide it in a safe environment in a safe manner (i.e. their physical health is looked after). Somewhere they are not managed by a drug dealing pimp - which is where most of the problems lie, not the women themselves.

There is certain parlours women can go to work at in a safe manner and from what I heard actually legal manner too.

They're drug using scum bags, if they're low enough to turn to prositution on a street corner for money then they're a waste of benefit money, good riddance.

I partly feel for the police force around here aswell, i mean we rarely get any crime around here and now in the last month, 3 prostitutes murdered, 2 missing, 3 people stabbed/shot and are seriously injures and 1 shot dead in a nightclub. But the shooting in the club is apparently going to lead to massive gang warfare in Ipswich, hence why they have closed the clubs. And all this in sleepy Suffolk.

They need to bring in Horatio Cain from CSI Miami, He'd find the killer using a sample of a rare plant only found in some remote part of the world.

I agree Mr. Green Thumbs Up

If the ho's can't work their gonna have to shoplift or something to fund their drug habit.

it actually isn't illegal things that surround it is illegal,

such as the solicitation on streets ,

and kerb crawling ,

however is more than one worker per property is illegal (even maids and security guards are considered).

you should see thursday nights outside my house kerb crawlers going round and round and round I frequently get stopped on my bike by cops who ask me WTF I am doing in the RLD , that its illegal to kerb crawl , I tell them I live nearby which is true,

I actually live right on the edge of an RLD , and park my bike indoors or if the backalley isn't too 'occupied' in the back yard,

Third prostitute 'was strangled'

Maybe they'll have some better leads to start following up if he's leaving marks behind now?

Found a fourth???????
Riding home from college today and there is another road closed, a police helicopter and a mobile policing unit. Along with many other police cars making there way to the closed road. The closed road though is just seconds from the location of the 3rd body. I have attached a map!

There's nothing in the news yet. They may just be looking for more evidence from the scene of the 3rd body, considering that they have a cause of death for this one.

If he's sloppy enough to leave marks on her body, then he may have left other traces at the scene.

Or you could be right. Confused

FUCK, was driving towards Levington at about 2.30-3pm ish and heard some sirens, looked behind me and there was a mass convoy of cop cars, never seen such a thing in my life, they were travelling at some speed ill tell ya that. Got to Ipswich, did what i had to, went to go home and i couldnt go on the old felixstowe road as they were turning you away, and of course Nacton is closed so i couldnt go along there, the only way was the A14 on my ped that does about 45 on a good day! Also the worst/most scary thing is i was in Levington on Saturday night delivering some advertising leaflets Shocked

Now im worried for my sister and mum, not letting them go anywhere on the own. I mean whats to say, he cant get any more prostitutes as the police are watching them real close, he may turn to "normal" women or even men.

Tasteless mode: - I bet the prostitutes around Ipswich do not even dare to use the chat up line "Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me?" any more. Mr. Green

Did you not read? I said that the person may turn to "normal" women and even men as it may be harder for them to get prostitutes due to the police attention.

And no, none of them have been shot, that was a separate incident Shocked

But you live over 200 miles away Confused
If you were a woman living in Ipswich would you do the same.

It might only be prostitutes so far but the police seem to fear he could target normal women as there on the Anglia news warning women to not walk about on there own.

Ms Clennell gave an interview to ITV on 5 December in which she said she was prepared to go back on the streets despite the emerging danger because "I need the money".

But she admitted the killings had made her "a bit wary about getting into cars".

However, she said she would probably still continue to do so despite already having had "a couple of nasty experiences", including being beaten up once.

Ms Clennell also said she had noticed there were now fewer men and prostitutes around.

"The girls are probably wary about coming out now," she said.

Interesting??????? You find the murder of women `interesting`???

I think i`d call it shocking myself.

And you have `not much sympathy`??????
You may be right that some have chosen their lifestyle, but come on...that doesn`t give anyone the right to take their lives.
