Most of us have entered a location. Click on an individual's profile, it'll show you a map with their whereabouts in comparison to yours, asuuming you have entered one too.

Get yourself into the North Section and tell us there. No real point in placing this up in the main section as everyone is from all over the world Wink

(I'm from Northallerton btw so only about 30/40 miles from you)

You have to enter a location a bit more specific than "UK" Smile

The map icon at the top right has never worked* - the map I was referring to is the one you get when you view another person's profile, by clicking on their name, or on the "Profile" button on every post.

* and probably never will.

Harrogate, North Yorkshire, so again not very far really. In fact looking at the replies it obvious that the north is indeed the centre of the universe!

I'm from Tiptree, pretty close to Witham (in fact most of my family live there) but I'm living in Brighton at the minute.

I would go along with that. I've seen most of the other roads the UK has to offer, and (Wales, Scotland and some of Cornwall accepted) the rest of the country is truly dire.

The North really is the best Very Happy We have:

Arrow No fixed speed camera (certainly in N. Yorks at least, the rest it's a rare thing to come across one.... and even rarer to find one actually intact Wink )

Arrow A bike friendly police force who organise big shows etc. On the open road it's a game of cat and mouse - we have no cameras, they get 'Prodrive' Subaru Imprezas. We all stick to 30 zones. Sounds fair to me Wink

Arrow Some of the BEST roads ever. NYTT, catterick Tank Road, Hawes to name but a few. And of course the lakes with it's dangerous passes like Hardknott (if ya dare Shocked )

Arrow The biggest dedicated bike meets in the UK. Squires, Rivy, Devils Bridge, st Annes... want me to continue!! Squires rivals Ace cafe for starters and actually has some decent roads around it, not miles of concrete - oh and has some really fine girls behind the counter Razz

Arrow And last but not least, everyone nods and acknowledges everyone. Something i noticed just doesn't take place in the South Confused

The North FTW Thumbs Up
