I need to replace the rear tyre on the ZXR on friday as it's punctured and there's barely any tread on it.

I'm pretty broke at the mo so I want to get the cheapest *decent* tyre out there. It has a 180/55/17 Bridgestone BT56 on it at present. I've been looking online and the cheapest I can find is a Dunlop 180/55/ZR17 (73W) D207 Sportmax for £90. Are these any good? Please bear in mind that I will be riding in the wet so no ex-racing tyres please.......

cheers

oooh just seen some a Pirelli Diablo 180/55/17 for £103.00. These are the new ones that are meant to be quite good aren't they?

I liked the D207's - having now ridden on some 010's - The 207's were FAR better in the wet, but I do prefer the 010's in the dry! Laughing

Though, he races and gets more tyres regularly, I've asked him how often he gets more, so I'll see what his reply is and let you know Smile

I've got 207s on the Blade and I don't have any problems with them.

Whatever you get, try to make sure that they'll be compatible with your front.

I had 207s fitted last week they are now scrubbed in and feel so much better than the shitty michelin macadams I had on before.
