Aye, DVD very enjoyable, as was watching the series on its first run.

Unlike Race To Dakar, which was shite. Charley Boorman and the other bloke that didnt finish whining over a whole series.

I have endorsed this before. McGregor comes over as a really nice down to earth chap.

Just got the DVD back so may well watch it again over Christmas. We have banned Sky from our house, and, to be honest do not miss it one bit.

I've not really seen the show but I read the book. Somehow Charlie Boorman manages to sound like a complete nob even when he talks about himself. From the book you get the real impression the trip tested their friendship to the absolute max!

Fantastic journey though and I'd love to do something just half as spectacular myself...

I read the book aswell and really enjoyed it.
Shame about the constant moaning about missing there families, surely they must be away from there families a lot being actors..
