Damn quick gymkhana vid I found.
What do you think of gymkhana? Is it popular sports in UK too?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN3z1HhveBk

Today I attended HMS course and tried myself for the first time,
and noticed what a crap rider I am. I chose VTR250.I tried myself, and watch the vid, I think they are crazy level gym riders.

It's unheard of in the UK, but like drifting and time attack if someone promotes it here I think it could do damn well, the ped boys for one would have a right field day with it.

I'd love to be able to ride like that at low/medium speed.

Filtering could be so fun.

Sorry for boring post but I was so impressed with this movie and searched for a race result of this movie,
and at last found the race result. This was final race after qualifying races in each areas of japan.

3rd rider of the movie(red-2 number NSR250) 1st place in A class.(1'23.612 in 2nd heat)100.00%
1st rider of the movie(red-3 number NSR250) 2nd place in A class.(1'23.968)in 2nd heat)100.43%
2nd rider of the movie(red-1 number NSR250) 3rd place in A class.(1'24.013 in 2nd heat)100.48%
4th rider of the movie(red-5 number DR-Z400) 7th place in A class.(1'25.044 in 1st heat)101.71%

So 3rd rider in this movie is the fastest gym rider in japan at present I can say! Wwow!! must be god gym rider...

Classification of gymkhana was...
<Seeded players>
A class = within 105% of top time record in the past, and podium/authorised.
B class = within 105% of top time record in the past
C1 class = within 110% of top time record in the past
C2 class = within 115% of top time record in the past
----------------------------------------------------
<Unseeded players>
NL class = novice ladies
NO class = novice open
NN class = novice open with normal bike
----------------------------------------------------
I also heard that higher-level class of HMS is about 110-130% level,
intermediate class is about 130-170% level in which I couldn't catch up with at all...Wow..

From the race results, I find NSR250/CBR600/DR-Z400SM are popular gym machines.
They attach bar-handle,very sticky tyre, lowered sprocket, and very light weight cowl removed.

I also found fulltime run of some riders(if interested, please check them)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tszwf3wz_hU
(with blue-2 number NSR250)1st place in B class.(1'26.103) in 2nd heat)102.98%
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce505KG0noE
(with red-24 number CB-1)14th place in A class.(1'27.677) in 2nd heat)104.86%
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=se3QKifZw8w
(with green-12 number NSR250)14th place in C1 class.(1'35.845) in 2nd heat)108.69%

I also found gymkhana Rule.

I will attend HMS beginner course next time.lol.

Love to see riding like that, I think it shows top control and I just creased up when that guy just fell and then did that endo at the end and staked it. Priceless. Thumbs Up

Wish I was half as good as him though!
