Sorry to request a second time, but can any one help with a wiring diagram for a GPZ 750 R (Water Cooled) Kawasaki, or if any one has a work shop manual for the same model for sale. Thanks in advance. .... Jeff

Ask in the forum here:

https://www.750turbo.com/

I'm sure one of the turbo owners club will be able to help.

You'd be better off looking for a diagram for the GPZ900R, as the 750 was the same, just a sleeved down version and not as popular. The 750 Turbo is a completely different beast.

Thanks Shaggy, but it seems no one has a diagram or manual for either. I have been advised by a Kawasaki Dealer that they can get me a manual but it has to come from Japan & allow 3 to 4 weeks. can get a 750 Air Cooled manual but they tell me it is different wiring. Regards Jeff

https://www.gear4bikes.com/acatalog/Haynes_Manuals___Kawasaki.html

Last one on the page covers the GPZ900R.

[edit] I'll have a rummage in the pile that is the study for my Haynes - if I find it I'll scan the pages for you.

I know that Shaggy but these guy know everything about the 750 and are likely to have a manual. Also the turbo wiring etc is a sub-loom completely independant from the main loom, I doubt if the main wiring is all that different. Both are derived from the 650 in any case.

Not sure they are. Totally different generations of bike. GPz750 is the air cooled one related to the Turbo, GPZ750R is the liquid cooled one that is a chopped down GPZ900R.

All the best

Keith

Yes you're right Keith, the turbo is a bored-out 650 but the liquid-cooled R is not. I stand corrected.

You could try your local main library. They usually have a big collection of Haynes manuals to lend out.

Thank's for all your suggestions, if nothing transpires in regards a diagram, off this list I will try the UK manuals people but time is a factor. Being from country Aus., things do not get here all that quickly. Thanks again ... Jeff

Hey,

I went to me nans tonight and got the manual. The manual is also for the GPZ750R so i've scanned in the relevant wiring diagrams. The diagram spanned 2 pages so there's 2 images to download, both are 2mb due to the size i had to scan them at.

Here are the links to download the files from my webserver:

www.pcforge.co.uk/bike/wiring_1.jpg

www.pcforge.co.uk/bike/wiring_2.jpg

The writing on the images is legible, you just have to zoom in to see it.

Hope that helps,
Shaun.
