Well not quite yet.

But its the winter solstice which i'm told is on the 22nd December this year. Rolling Eyes

So no more dark nights. Wink

Just think we'll be able to get home from work and go for a 4 hour ride , before the sun sets. (well maybe soon). Laughing

Best rides I've had in my life have been at night. Much more fun but has got to be dry.

Oh god, I can't WAIT for it to start brightening up again, I hate all this dark, miserable weather.

My B'day is on the summer solstice Thumbs Up

Its foggy as hell here in Essex, as long as its not icey I may take the bike out for a short spin to keep everything ticking over.

Winter sucks when you have to scrape the ice from your seat and hang aound for what seems like ages for the bike to warm up. I jumped the gun a little the other day, rode off after starting the bike up, kept the speed down, gradually knocking off the choke for the bike to bog down and die on me at the side of the road. It took me a further 5 minutes to get the damn thing warm and running correctly before riding off again Mad Rolling Eyes

When it takes longer to get dressed and to warm the bike up than does to actually get to work is it worth it, or should you just take the car Thinking Laughing

Ahhh, bring on the heater Wink

I cant wait for summer, got my first big bike (sv650s) in October so looking forward to long, warm (dryish) days.

Mind you the last time my mate decided to get hisbike out the garage after having it parked up all winter andget it road taxed, it snowed the lenght of the country. The snow lay about 14inches deep for 2days in Glasgow, so he got barred from taking his bike out the garage in April again! lol Razz
