I'm getting VERY fed up with all the posts about how im spending my daddies money. It's totally uncalled for, and in no way fair. I've said many times before that it realy gets on my nerves.

My parents bought me a car for my birthday, big deal?
Most of my mates have had cars bought for them.

I am paying for my lessons, I am paying for my insurance.

No i dont leach off my parents. No i dont go around flashing cash.

It realy fucks me off when thats all people say. Believe it or not, i work 9-5 5 days a week.

Theres one or two of you that bring it up quite frequently, and to those people, please fuck off.

Merry fucking christmas.

Hi

Being honest, Palmer does not chuck around stories of spending cash. Might have more than some, but seems to get given far less than others.

OK, the odd dig might be taken in jest. But it does seem to have gone beyond that point.

All the best

Keith

Get used to it.. its going to happen if your parent(s) have money... it will never stop, i get lots of shit off the people at work saying how "your daddy buys you everything" which is not the case as he never buys me anything, never has and doubt he ever will! but people will always always take the piss and say what they can. just get used to it...

if you really dont want people taking the piss, then dont tell them about your parents or your circumstances...

Actually there are people on here (IMO) who boast about money a *lot* more than palmer does.

When he first came on here he did mention his own situation, but since then he's just been another forum member.

Not gonna name names of the people who boast a lot more, but they do and they annoy.

Palmer doesn't annoy me, in fact he posts lots of relevant and worthwhile stuff.

The following image may be in bad taste.

However, I've never spoken with Palmer, nor even knew about his financial situation, so this is 100% in jest.

Stop being so bloody useless and go enjoy yourself, it's Christmas. I'm not rich, neither am I poor, but I'll spend as much as I can on my daughter if I feel it's worthwhile. That includes holidays, school and believe it or not, presents at Christmas, birthdays and now and then, just for the sake of it. Just occasionally, she gets spoiled. I'm sure that most parents are the same - generally bringing a smile to your child's face brings one to yours.

If your parents have more money than most, expect more/bigger presents than most. Others will be jealous - that's just how it is, how it's been for a long time in the past and how it will be for many years to come. You can only hope that the bigger presents somehow help you to put up with it.

Nothing against you but take it and live with it, it's only an internet forum and anyone wo ever meets you off here probably won't give a f*ck anyway. Your only making it worse for yourself by bringing it into the lime light like others have said. Just ignore it and get on with it. Thumbs Up

This is an easy one to solve, the people who mock you are either jealous or insecure, figure out why they're insecure and mock them until they cry, not only will this do the trick but it's fun too.

Not to be harsh but im my eyes anyone who gets a car brought for them is spolt. When i said to my parents i wanted to ride bikes i got no support money wise at all, did it all though part time jobs and hard work.

A few of my flatmates at uni have cars brought for them (new mini etc) and i think they are spolt as f*ck! I know your car wasnt new but still £2k they spent on you, my parents would never spend that much on my of either of my siblings, not because they couldnt but because money changes you and all the poeple i know that are rich are more annoying than poeple that are poorer.

Whilst i'm sure the rich kid jibes are a bit annoying,
I'm more inclined to feel sorry for the poor kids that have to put up with jibes about wearing second hand school clothes and getting bugger all for christmas.

anyway peace out for the two-double-O-six Thumbs Up

But why take a dim view of people who get cars bought for them? The fact is their parents WANTED to buy them cars... mine bought me my first car(s)

some parents like to give their kids something nice for a big occasion!
