Christmas Mistakes?...

I was just standing there, in the kitchen (where I always am on Xmas Day, I know..it's MY PLACE as a woman! Laughing

)..

Anyway..peeling a parsnip, and a thought struck me...
I AM SURE MY KID HAD MORE PRESENTS THAN THAT! What about her selection box from F Christmas? What about that watercolour set?
And then it dawned on me Shocked

I had left a bag of presents in the spare room

How the hell do I get the presents (from Santa) to her now?
Question

Run downstairs (sack in hand)

Throw gifts on back garden lawn

Rummage in freezer. Get out a handful of crushed ice. Throw this over discarded gifts on damp grass

Back inside. "Can you see if the dog needs to go out to toilet for me please kid"?

"MUUUUM!! THERE ARE PRESENTS OUT HERE"!

"Oh dear..they must have fallen from the sleigh. Look, they are all icy"

I recall when I was about my kids age my Mum had left a dolls cot quilt in her wardrobe, and she came to the top of the stairs about mid-day (obv realised something was missing), and threw it to me exclaiming.. "Santa left this in my bedroom by mistake"
Hmmm... I think I knew something was up then. More thought could have gone into it Exclamation

I did the same thing last night too........I was on amazon just checking through previous orders....when I noticed a 'WWE John Cena Spinning Wrestling Belt'..no less! .... Rolling Eyes

....hmmm, hadnt seen my little lad wearing it............suddenly dawned on me it was stuck in the back of the wardrobe.

Considering it was a major player on his Christmas List this year, he hadnt even noticed that he hadnt got it. Shocked

I did the 'look what I found outside, behind the rabbit hutch, must have fell off Santas sleigh'. He was made up. Thumbs Up
