Radio 1 is dire. Unfortunately I cannot stand commercial radio stations either (do I really want to hear the same mobile bloody phone adverts over and over again?), and I'm not of a pensionable age so every other BBC station is out. CDs are the way forward when you're in the car, and Kerrang or MTV2 when in the house (on Sky).

Planet Rock and The Arrow (on DAB) are good proper rock stations - whether it's the kind of thing that appeals to the 'youngsters' of today I couldn't possibly comment.

You'd definitely hear some new music though, albeit old (if you know what i mean)

I totally agree with Jay - my DAB radios are never tuned in to anything else. Planet Rock absolutly rocks.
