Shops in Reading?

Ok, Today is the day to get a helmet, I think (if the intended shops are open)

Which shops would you reccomend?

And any advice on the helmet, apart from having it a good fit?

How about the 'Gold' regulations, or whatever it was?

Don't think there's much open in Reading today.

Your best bet is probably J&S in newbury. Decent prices and a fairly big range.


What sorta price are you looking at?

A good fit is going to be the most important factor, other things to consider are stuff like vents and wind noise. You can't really test those without going for a ride though.

Nitro helmets are ok! it saved me when I got knocked off and my heads still ok well the same as it was before the accident anyway!

God the place was boring when I went there, my mate took me round thatcham and that and I was just thinking, how the hell did he live here for 17 years and not top himself!
