It's exceedingly rare for me to find new music that I like, but I think this year I have to give the prize to Gnarls Barkley, with "Crazy". Whenever I hear the bass start, it never fails to get my feet/fingers/head/some handy appendage tapping.

What's your song of the year?

For me it would have to be kateboarding Saved My Life Twice by Grandaddy. Wasn't released as a single, its from the album Just Like The Fambly Cat. Shame they split this year Crying or Very sad.

Fedde Le Grande - Put Your Hands Up (For Detroit). That song has a lot of sentimental value and I think it was released this year Confused

Fedde Le grand is a contender,
possibly 'The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger' or maybe
The Killers - When You Were Young
maybe Deftones - Riviere

Afraid im going to have to dis-agree with shaggy. Gnarls Barkleys voice really pisses me off. Laughing

As for my favourite songs of last year.
I do like "Mason - Exceeder". really NOT a fan of the shitty radio version with the bint trying to sing over the top of an amazing tune. Thumbs Down

Other than That. Im not really a fan of Indie, But I think "The Kooks - Ooh La", And "Razorlight - America" are two very catch tunes. Thumbs Up

Overall best song this year though has to be the "Red hot chilli peppers - Snow" Cool

If your pissed up and Bodyrox comes on, you can't stop dancing.

I found that out new year...

Love it! Cool Thumbs Up

The two songs that stood out for me last year were: -

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy, very rare for me to remember a song that came out early in that stands out. Amazing song.

The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger, reminds me of Freshers week so much, such a brilliant song.

For me it would have to be Panic at the Disco! with I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Also i loved the Gnarles Crazy one when that came out, but heard it too much Confused

To be honest i have found loads of music that i really like this year, only most of it was released before this year.

David Gueretta vs The Egg- Walking away has got to be worth a mention. It's the song from the Ice skating C4 advert if you haven't heard it full..
