You know what? I was quite the lucky one! I didn't catch the terrible flu epidemic, though I did get a bit of sore throat that lasted for about a day. Dick was convinced that I'd catch the illness from him and kept telling me to start gargling that Echinacea stuff because he thought that as soon as he was over with it I'd go and give it straight back to him. Of course I didn't listen to him and I didn't even catch the sniffles. While he was laying in bed looking like he was about to die, I was there smiling and bouncing around the house as if I was 5 and it was my Birthday.
