Right,

I'm looking for 2 piece all black leathers with little of no design. i've been looking around & found a nice Alpinestars suit for £350 which seems a decent price compared to other shops but i get page error when i click add to cart.
https://www.crescent-suzuki.com/pages/shop/product_detail.aspx?pid=823

Anyone know any good places to find some for around £350. I don't really trust RST due to my last off..

Thanks. Thumbs Up

I'd generally trust alpine stars to protect me, but I wouldn't trust them to do it a second times.

Usual advice is that if you want it for protection more than style, then find a suit that fits you well by trying lots on.

Alternatively, I can recommend getting a decent cheap suit from ebay, then getting it altered to fit.

Got two sets of one piece suits from ebay and altered to fit for under what you're paying - between them they managed probably ten or so crashes last year, including some pretty fast one on track.

Of course, you could always just call them.

Cheers guys, yup i've been checking ebay but doesn't seem alot on there at the moment, well none in black anyway. There was the same set as the link above but for £400 so it did seem like a good deal at £350, will give them a call.

I wouldn't mind these but it's typical they don't do all black lol. Only £320 for the set, athlough i could grow to like them. How's Wolf, any good?

I would definately try them on first before buying even if you try on in a shop and buy from somewhere else. I had an Alpinestars 1 piece and it was a weird fit, nice and tight in the arms, legs and shoulders then the thing had a mahooosive arse. Shifty

I sold it an Ebay in the end I just didn't feel confident in it's ability to protect and keep everything where it should be in a crash.

You might be as well finding somewhere with a sale on and buying a Jacket and adding some zip in same brand jeans. Somewhere like MCA

these are very very good value. They come in one or two piece and also come in black. The sizes are one size above what they should be. According to the size chart, i was a medium. A small or xs would have been better for me.

Jack

Edit: found them on th' interweb https://www.click2buy.co.uk/leathers/products.php?cat_id=1

You sure they would hold up in a crash? Smile I like the look of them tho, i'm still looking around so might come back to them if i can't find anything else.

Have you had an off with them?

[EDIT]
I just bought these, Alpinestars Track Leather Jeans. I'm going to hopfully get a matching jacket next month. But for now i'm quite pleased.

I sold them on as they didn't fit well (the sizing guide is 2 inches too big imo) so i never crashed. Everything was double and treble stitched, and it wasn't thin leather either.

Would need somthing like that, will take a look at the jackets. I'm in need of some thick leather as when i had an off my arm had a bit of road rash from where the leather got worn down on the concrete.

The protection pads seem to move around alot aswell, mainly the bit above the wrist.

What's with the price tho?

I only bought the leathers. The thermal gloves are tempting, though.

The leathers have full shin protection, too. Most only have knee protection, but these leathers are probably the best value for money i have every seen. I can't believe that there aren't hundreds of stockists.
