Been offered one of these

CBR 1000 G reg, WHite and blue. 27000 miles (prob not genuine) runs sweet and has original exhaust on it. Few scratches on body work but oterwise OK

Is it worth £800??

If its all in perfect order bloody good bikes, you wont be able to throw it around at all but straight line speed is its main asset. Suspension will proboly need looking at and might not work out cheap.

Mate round the corners dads got one with 75k miles on the clock, if they are looked after they live for ever.

Not sure about insurance.....

Hi

Ugly as sin, but not bad bikes. Basically a sports tourer. Cam chains go on the early ones.

I would definatly think it is worth looking at

All the best

yeah, take it. 27k isn't much, especially for a G reg.
£800 sounds likea bargain...but you might wanna test drive or someone to check it out properly cos it does sound a bit cheap.

Sounds good, especially if the mileage is genuine.

As has been siad, give it a general looking over for knackered bits and bobs, you don't want to spend more sorting than it cost in the first place.

Has it been standing or has it been in regular use?

If its been standing, check it was laid up correctly. Hondas of that vintage just decay if they aren't laid up properly.

The guy is using it daily at the minute...

Seems a bit cheap to me too - that's why I'm asking what people think. The mileage can't be verified sadly as no history with the bike - I bet it's a CAT D or summin when I HPI it!!!!
