Road Angel

Having worked in Halfords for a bit now I'm starting to notice a few products such as the Road Angel. I'm told you can buy a special bike kit for it to fit onto your motorcycle. Reason for posting this is I want to know if anyone on the boards has one on their bike, one of the guys at work has one on the dashboard of his car and swears by it, so just wanted to know if anyone else relies on one. oh I actually have to explain what it does... it's one of those camera spotters, except this one's special... it picks up every possible form of speed camera, including moving units, so the police turning up on your road will be picked up and you'll hear a beeping through an earpiece. Apparently the other forms of speed camera detectors that Halfords sell tend to let off loads of false alarms.

... because by it's nature it's passive.. ie a bloke watching two spots with a stopwatch.

isnt road angel the one that isnt a detector but a gps thingy that warns you of gatsos, accident spots and places coppers normally hang out??

yeah, it's as accurate as a bent copper...

Driving through a village at midnight, i had an officer follow me to the end of the village, into a 40mph zone, then into a 60 limit and then back into a 3o before pulling me to say i'd been speeding 15 miles away yet no video... but courts still sided with the copper.

I won't go into some of the other things i've been done for because i'd be here all week, lol... although funnily enough ever since video cameras were installed into cars i've never had any problems Neutral

so either i've suddenly behaving myself, or there's more bent coppers then there are ciminals!!!

The law sucks, the courts suck... unless your a criminal in which case you get a free holiday and compo if you get injured while you were mugging someone... *sigh*
