stinkwheel: Yes i have a standard round headlamp (96' Bandit), and i was hoping i would be able to use the standard brackets, side mounted i presume...
I know next to nothing about relays etc, how would that work?
Buster's say they are supplied with "two 60/55w halogen bulbs",
Will that be bright enough? sounds a bit weak...
doggone: i really don't care what the latest "must have look" is mate, i think they look good and finish the front end off on a bandit...
Rich: Yes if you can help me out getting the twin ones |

I've got a set of those.
IIRC they cope with side lights too. Mine come with 55w bulbs too.
Never got round to fitting them to my Bandit before I sold it and not 100% sure if they'd look OK on a K3 SV650. ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |

Those headlights came with my Hornet. It looks like the normal big single light bracket works on the souble lights, just have to point them in a little on the forks. Mine have sidelights too. Its a glass cover and metal reflector. Uses 55/60w bulbs which doesn't light the road up fantastically, but I'm getting some +50% Xenon 55/60W bulbs tonight so I'll let you know if they make a difference
Also, they're £10 cheaper from HERE (second to bottom). |

ay up pal, you can use the standard bracket to mount the lights no problem, however when fitting twin headlights you will have to find a way of protecting all the additional wiring which is normally enclosed in the standard headlight, a roll of black electrical tape and a few cable ties did the job for me.
However i would not fit anything above 60W in as you will be running the risk of draining your battery alot quicker.
Heres a pic of mine, and yes they do really sort out the front end of a bandit! p.s i think mine were £65. ____________________ Rh. |

No Toby.
Nnnnnnno!
How many times do I have to say it.
Tend to think they look utterly guff on any bike other than the Buell/Triumph where they are fitted as standard and tend to look as such. Had them on my hornet and they didn't have a dipped mode. Or well they did at some point. Don't think 'acidburnz' appreciated me riding behind him.
I sold mine for about £35 second hand. |

I disagree. Only looks good on the Triumph Speed Triple. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. In my opinion, the twin head lights seem to go well with 'beefy' front ends i.e USD forks. Otherwise the lights just make the forks look weedy. I'd try and get the front assembly off a buell (headlights and fly screen) and then the USD's off a GSXR. Then you'd have a nice bandit. |

I've just bought a set of black twins from busters. They look quite good, but I've not got them on the bike yet...they screwed up with the brackets (wrong size).... btw they are black, and are going on a black gsxr750 street fighter.... I've toyed with the idea of having two sets of twins at the front... to be different ____________________ **** Don't ride faster than your angel can fly Get this Free Space
