hi guys

well I fitted my new Akrapovic to my 2003 R1... the standard exhaust is way too quiet and is the size of a small cannon.

The Akra is great quality and am loving the sound..

heres a vid

It should be a bcf rule that if you fit a new exhaust you need to blip the throttle more and rev it high Wink

Sounds nice Karma

cheers for the comments...

Quacker, they do mate... but they just sell a different link pipe for different bikes. My Akra came with a leaflet saying it was for a GSXR1000, but the connector pipe had a sticker on the packaging saying it was for an R1 2002-03.

Why does the bike sound so mundane? I'm guessing you didn't rev it much?

I love the sound of an exhaust note on song with high revs. Very Happy

Bingo! I'm such a smarty pants Dance!

That's quite an interesting idea though, how did you manage to order the can if it's only for GSXRs?

that'd be because it was filmed at 7:30am yesterday morning and I like my neighbours Wink ... will do a higher rev one soon, it was recorded with my phone which can knacker up the sound above a certain volume so I will try and dig out my camera and get a louder recording..
