Ok, i fiited my new acerbis backlight, when i first switch the key and press the brake it lights up as normal etc etc. But when i start the bike it stays on full beam, so when i press the brake the light only shines a little, its not noticable, could anyone help me please?. Thanks

could this be a problem of wireing?. or someone told me something else stupid might be stopping it, or something is overriding it. please comment thanks.

sounds like you have wired the back light wrong as the brake circuit connot work until either switch is active ie front and rear levers, it sounds like your side lights are wired to the brake light circuit and vis versa which is why you only get a dull light when the brake is active cos thats actually your side light circiut hope this helps all my best sam

try changing the wires around but if that doesnt work then make sure that the contacts arent touching the frame or any metal as this happened to my bike and im not sure how it happened but this produced the same symptoms as the ones u are describing, looks good though would you mind me asking where you got it from?
