Hi

Bimota YB7. Made a bit over 300 over them. FZR400 engine. Quite small, and only made for the Japanese market (commisioned by their Japanese importer).

There is one on Ebay for sale at the moment.

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1989-BIMOTA-YB7-WHITE-RED-GOLD-Yamaha-FZR400-exup_W0QQitemZ130066310511QQihZ003QQcategoryZ424QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

There were a few others as well. There was a 400cc version of the Tesi made.

All the best

Keith

Not sure. Bimota have a fairly large stock of spares for their bikes, and as they were only ever made in small quantities they were never set up for ordering thousands of parts from external suppliers.

Spare part prices might sting, although not as bad as you would think (eg, footrest hanger for my YB10 was £45, not bad for an anodised machined hanger).

Someone please put in a silly bid for that one on Ebay so I am not tempted to buy it.

All the best

Keith

Don't tempt me.

Surely it would be an investment? Something like that could only go up in value?

Maybe, but I have got too many 2 wheel investments and I cannot' convince myself with that excuse anymore.

Realistically it would normally go for around £2k, although maybe less at this time of year.

They are pretty small bikes.

All the best

^^Same.

Certainly was designed for the smaller rider though. Check out how small the seat space is. Laughing

Hi

Small, but an FZR600 engine fits in. Think a Thundercat one will as well with a bit more effort.

All the best

I agree. Get in there Keith.

Rather, see it as an easter present! (Who wants a chocolate egg anyway?!!)

I think its quite a good looking bike. Maybe a little bulbus, but it works. And with the 600 engine(90hp is it?) would be quite a machine.

I want it, but id have no money left for lessons/test/insurance Laughing

And its only in cambridge... Thinking

Hi

Trying not to spend money. Want to find a new job, and will probably land up taking a pay cut so don't want to spend anything.

All the best
