I did this one last month. It's my favorite to date. My agency is even doing limited edition prints of this one.

I dont mean to come across as all doom and gloom but, all of your posts so far have been on advertising you artistic ability, and come your web site.

A self conscious person could be mistaken this for touting for business, and hence spam?

Have you never seen art shops that take a photo of your choice like a portrait, sporting shot or pet and then turn it into a 'painting' or 'sketch'.

Pre produced prints can also be docketed to resemble 'paintings' too Wink It is therefore very important that anyone who spends shed loads of money on a 'picture' is not just wasting money on a reproduction.

Its a long story how I know about this, but it does happen.

What medium are you using for your pics?

Thank god, somebody else thinks it.

TBH, this members karma is based on the fact that he/she can draw, but as yet I don't know what bike he/she rides or if they infact live in Britain.

If I wanted to look at pictures of bikes that look equally as good I would.

It's coming across a bit Spam like now.

Its a he, cant remember his name, but its on his website Rolling Eyes Laughing (and his profile Wink )

The old website stated stated that he's into bikes and is a fisherman, so plenty of other yarns to tell besides the paintings.

Being a pesimist, I believe that he is using BCF as advertising space just like this

Actually guys, jewfzr used to post his art on here when he was not actually selling them.

See his earlier posts. Here is a quote from before.
jewfzr wrote:
Thanks, I don't do prints so I really like people to be able to have something and everything should not cost $ seems like everything does these days. My real job is commercial fishing in Alaska so I get to do this half of the year. Oh yeah and ride as much as I can.

If I can remember correctly, he was getting lots of compliments about his art and requests in his threads from people on here to sell them online to them.

The guy paints really nice motorcycle art and shares them with us for free. If then you want to buy the art then go ahead. It is not like he comes on here and just posts a link with a tiny thumbnail of the art now is it. It is a decent sized picture.

I believe his line of work is seasonal and he paints/draws as a way to keep up the earnings so he can get by.

He has a talent and he doesn't advertise blatantly (if at all). He obviously appreciates motorcycles and draws them amazingly.

So from me...fuck off if you think it's spam. Thumbs Up He posts maybe every 3 weeks and does it on other forums too. Does he plaster his www. on the main page? No. If you're interested, you find it yourself, it isn't rammed down your bloody throat.

He's a fisherman that rides and draws bikes for fun and wants to share his work with other bikers, isnt that the point of a forum?

The only reason he's selling the odd one is because he gets so many bloody requests.

Give the guy a break.

It's not spam, he's not trying to sell anything, he's just showing off his talent, which is perfectly justified because it's on topic and there are some real crackers. Any artist wants to hear compliments and criticism.

I see a lot of so called 'art' when I'm out shopping. Just the odd splish, splash dotted paint brush slush.

But that, now that is art and bloody good! Well done to you.

Out of interest, are you left handed???

Question
