Hi Yalll

just bought second bike as above, when the motor is hot it cuts out. Could be old fuel but any ideas on anything else to check? I have done plugs filters etc.

classic coil problem with the gs,
i would look on ebay for some more,
there is nothing else on a gs that would cause it

Another thing to be weary of is a dodgy earth with the coils i had a gs550 that did something similar i changed the coils twice and it still happened turned out to be a bad earth Crying or Very sad

Turned out to be a bad (new) sparkplug, turned out it was only running on one pot! Changed the plugs over to check coils etc......................... guess what ran on other pot , problem solved. New plug fitted rode 90 mile today no probs.
