I really do have the worst luck in the world.

After my accident last Thursday, I thought nothing else could possibly get worse, how wrong was I.

I've just got back from the hospital who have given me the all clear, after I skidded into a railing and flipped around...

Yes, I crashed again.

To be honest, I have no idea what the fuck happened. I was doing 30 coming up to a corner, went to brake and it just didn't, then went to try and go round the corner at 30 and it just wouldn't turn at all, so I pulled clutch in and changed down and for some reason it locked the rear and sent me down. Bike skidded with me into the kerb then I contined into the railing and did like a 180 or something, I can't really remember.

Bike is fucked, pissed all the oil out, and the coolant.
Arrow Rad is snapped in half
Arrow Engine casing cracked
Arrow RH Side fairing is cracked/obliterated
Arrow Front fairing is cracked
Arrow Front headlights are all bent
Arrow Right footpeg has completely snapped
Arrow Tank is dented
Arrow Seat fairing is cracked and scratched
Arrow Brake reservoir has split and there is now brake fluid now
Arrow Brake lever is further down and when you brake it goes under the throttle
Arrow Screen is smashed too
Arrow It won't start either

I could honestly cry right now and my back is fucking killing me. The Doctor said I have concussion but it should go away within a couple of days.

I'm so gutted you don't even understand. 2 months of work/effort/money down the drain.

I'm sorry for making such a long post but I somehow need to get it all out of my system, and right now, at 3:40am this is the only way I can do it.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow, and also Ben took some at the scene.

That's another thing, big thanks to Ben and Ryan who stayed with me and took me to the hospital after my bike was recovered and taken home.

I just want to go out to the garage now and start breaking it, I just want rid now.

Feel for you graham. Utter rotten luck.

Take two paracetamols every 6 hours for the back. By itself, paracetamol is fairly weak but if taken regularly, it'll build up a level of analgesia as strong as morphine (without the side effects).

Sorry for your bad luck.

Are you sure you put the bike back together right? Bleed the brakes etc etc?

Sorry to hear this.

Take it easy and rest up a few days. Once your head`s settled a little, have a few beers.

Fuck the bike for now, its not going anywhere And chalk it down to experience.

And remember(had a bad year 2 years ago), it does come to an end. And someone, somewhere, is having a tougher time than you Wink (believe it or not Very Happy ).

Graham, somthing is trying to tell you to ditch the bike, or ride more appropriate to the conditions.

I have no idea how I managed to crash mine, just one of those things just try and learn from it and move on.

The bikes been bad enough to you lately, just cut your losses and buy another one Thumbs Up

Get well soon fella Wink

No shit. From the outlook this bike has been monged since the first time he crashed it and has kept on riding it.

Graham, have you checked the bike thoroughly after all of the crashes? It appears you seem to be too quick at jumping back on a bike straight after a crash.

Indeed mate, that's what I'm feeling at the moment. (Except for buying another one)

That's exactly it. This time I have come off alot worse than other accidents, maybe the next one will involve broken parts, or worse...

Yes obviously I checked the bike over, you'd have to be a dick not to.

I think that what has happened is a cable or something has come loose/out of position and affected the movement in the steering. But I will never know exactly what happened, all I know, is it's fucked up.

I'd get a car in your situation then look at getting some advanced riding lessons in spring if you still feel like riding a bike. Two accidents in 16 days can't be just down to bad luck Karma

I'd say the second one was probably unlucky, but I do have a feeling it only happened cause of the previous crashes.

Anyway, I wouldn't advise you to leave biking cause of this, but I would advise you to get a new bike.

Try and stay with bikes, you know you want to but if you did move up in the wheel count its understandable.

Good luck for the rest of the year Thumbs Up Karma

We can all point fingers all day long.

At my riding, the bike being unlucky, a fault on the bike.

End of the day, nobody knows exactly what went wrong.

None of you saw it, so you can't even comment on my riding and my ability.

Got pictures now.

The oil puddle from getting bike off the recovery truck last night:

Cars aren't really the answer in my opinion - by far the worst accident I've been in was sitting at a constant 50mph in a straight line on a car.

I'd recommended getting a copy of 'Motorcycle Roadcraft: a police Rider's handbook'.
Obviously you /do/ have to read and learn from it.

I usually try to avoid posting replies such as "LOL" or "He He" etc, but this little tit bit had me in agony at work while I tried to conceal my chuckling!

Graham I'm not suprised your a bit shaken up and thinking about quiting. It's perfectly natural, especially after you've already dusted yourself off and got stright back on. Hopefully after a few weeks away from riding you'll want to get back to it.
