The time has come for us all to decide which date suits us the best , ive listed two dates please choose the most suitable for yourself and if both dates are good then just leave a message stating both are good Wink

We will go with the majority , July is good as its closer Laughing

Myself and cestrian will be doing a couple of runs along variuos routes to arrange meet places and stop offs , this should be over the next month or so , so anyone interested in any of the dry runs please get in touch .

As has been mentioned before, for many people this is far too far in advance to make any kind of 'real' plans.

Also, some people may be sceptical because this sort of thing is discussed pretty much every year on BCF and rarely does much more happen.

believe me folks this ride will happen, and many others throughout the year.(some as early as march). Laughing

Myself and richie have spoke and we are going to do a full dummy ride, as soon as the weather improves. mainly focusing on suitable meet points, and establishing the final route (which will be posted in all its fullness on BCF). Then we will set a suitable date, then off we all go.

Also for the people living in the north west, we will be having some local rideouts, to some scenic places in wales with the obligatory cafes and pub grub. one mentioned by richie is the great orm then off up to betws-y-coed.

Yeh this ride WILL happen, regardless of how many actually take part. Like I said at the start, if only a fraction of the 'I'll be there' crowd make it, it'll be a success.

Last time I went to the Bash was about20 years ago at Long Marston. Not sure it was suitable for this type of meeting.

We've had fairly big numbers at Bulldog Bash in the past, but not so much interest recently.

However it does need organisation and a little enthusiasm Smile

I do not understand why some individuals believe that this ride out wont happen , i guess it is because they have been let down in the past .
Well please be assured this ride out will happen and the only people it wont happen for are the people that dont turn up or dont want to come .
And if the turn out is good and everyone agrees to it then we could even make it an annual thing who knows , but it does have the potential to be a dam good day out .
So if youre interested please show your interest but please dont put replies on here saying it wont happen based on previuos experiences , critisice afterwards not before . Wink

cheers for the advice G , i guess it is down to us all , thats everyone that has shown some interest to make this happen and be succesful .
I personally hope that a majority make the effort as it will be a good ride out either way really .

the reason weve not posted it just two weeks in advance is so that it gives more people the oppertunity to plan ahead and arrange holidays etc .
As the thinking was that not everyone on here is single or unemployed so they cant just ride out at the drop of a hat , you know what they say

The answer to that would be Me , Flat Eric , Cestrian , st3v3 , Marshy , Gixxa Jane , plus around 20 other bikers from up here , but its not to arrange your holidays around it , ie i will go to Spain for two days come back do the bike ride and then fly out to Spain again to join my family Crying or Very sad

, its so that people can book a days holiday at work if they need to .
Its a ride out , social gathering , just for people to get to meet from here , all this is listed at the top of the 1st page .
The more the merrier . Wink
