Do any companies do this? I remember seeing an advert saying something like this, possibly tesco or something.

Any ideas?

Bear in mind that you can only use it on one vehicle at a time, so by using it to insure a car, you'll have 0 years bike NCB.

Actually places will mirror your bike no claims (ncb for both with same company) so you can use it on both, providing youve held the car licence.
My company were prepared to do this if i had been driving at least as year, they would have mirrored 1ys ncb over from the 2 and all if i held a car licence 2 yrs etc Thumbs Up

If you are covering 2 vehicles, each vehicle earns it own NCD. When I was doing insurance 12 years ago you might get an introductory discount to account for your road experience but generally bikes and cars NCD are incompatable. thing may well be different now, I suppose it depends on how much the insurer wants your business and how much you are willing to pay.
