Covering up the big gay front indicators/stickers

I have a NSR 125 RK 1991

Just got my diddy little indicators in the post, i'm going to mount them somewhere else other than that where the current big ones are on the front.

The left one is bust anyway just flaps about in its hole.If i remove the 2 large front units i will have 2 big holes where they were, correct?

How can i patch up the holes so i wont see them? I was thinking of just buying some fancy mesh to try and disguise them as air vents.

Any other suggestions? I suppose i'm going to have fun try to get these to flash right

Oh and i have the black model, it has the pink green and purple stripes. I wanted to remove the pink stripes, but my mum said i will be able to see the line underneath (where the old paint has faded and the paint underneath the stickers will have been protected)

How can i get them off? i tried using a hairdrier but there stuck fast.

If you want to make it look as though the holes were never there, then you can use body filler to patch them up, although you may to put some mesh behind to strengthen the filler.

Alternatively, you can get a tip-ex pen and write "Ram Air" by the side of the holes.

As for removing stickers - have they been lacquered over? If so, then you may need to take out the rubbing compound/paint thinner/meths to remove it first.
I've always found that a hairdryer works fine, but I've been told that soaking the panels in a hot, soapy bath for a few hours also works...just make sure that your mum is out shopping or something.

That's kinda my thinking... yes I have immense indicators which may look a bit geigh, but people can see them. Riding around town a lot, I reckon that's more important.

I put my little clear lense ones on the back and left the standard ones on the front.

They flash perfect as before i had the standard ones on the rear they flashed way to fast.

Ill keep the big ones on the front for now, yes i have just been riding in shorts and t shirt to get a spark plug but i like people to see me coming, the rear ones had a 2 ft long stem on them, thought i was going to take off

I just showed my mate a few pictures of my NSR before it had the other indicators on it and he said if i tried to go knee down with them they would hit the ground and smash off lmao!

I see you have the lil Motrax indicators, like me.

Just go get some Indy Spacers, try the generic ones. Although I used the CBR Indy Spacers, and they worked a charm.

mine aren't actually motrax they are 'velo sport'.

£18 for 2 packs of them including postage off a chap off ebay.

I think i'm going to get some pieces of plastics, screw them over the holes then drill a hole in it and put the baby indicators in.

When i can find a piece of thin plastic that is, i have a old speedfight undertray i might take a hacksaw to in a bit

fitted all my mini indicators front and back, just need to nip down halfords and get some sealer, great bodge i have done!

The indicators don't flash, just a crunching sound and dim orange light, but i worked it out. If i unplug on of the indicators on one side it flashes on its own perfect which must mean the standard relay is 6v, i need a 12v to make them both flash correctly - correct?

I'm planning on taking all the stickers off it and respraying it, insurance money!!

Thats if i cud get my stickers off that is! lol
