ok, me and a mate like to go riding at weekends, and as he has now managed to nick a pair of good radios from his work, we are now looking for earpieces so we can talk.

anyone know of any good but cheapish pair that aren't liably to brake after a day.

cheers

the listening isn't the problem - and in-ear headphones should be fine with a bit of getting used to how to put thelmet on - the problem will lie in getting micced up inside your helmet (I'd imagine). Probably your best (cheapest) bet would be to get a very small mic from somewhere like maplins and play around with where it sounds ok, then sew it into the lining of the helmet.

The earpieces that we bought from Maplin for our scottish tour were fine.

The problem was with the mike.

A throat mike would be a lot better, but they are very expensive.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
