Hey All

Just wanted to say I feel like the final doubts of me being a true biker disappeared this morning (even if I do still have only a CBT!). To ride through the gales and crap being thrown down at us at the moment, having to put BOTH feet down when at the lights waiting for them to change is no mean feat!

My XR125 was a beaut as well, no engine trouble, not too difficult to handle in the high winds and still whizzing past all the standstill traffic with drivers sending themselves to sleep watching their windscreen wipers. Though I can't believe some idiots STILL try and squeeze you out of the space you've just taken up in front of their car, where am I stopping them going!?

Lastly, I work in a building right next to an airport that doesn't have any wind protection. I am a bit scared my bike is gonna get blown over and I don't really have anywhere to put it that gives any other protection, like near the building or parked cars etc... Anyone else have this problem or any ideas how to make it safer?

Raise the suspension a bit or shorten the sidestand so that the bike leans further when parked.

I'm not familiar with the XR125, but from the pics I've looked at on the Honda website etc I'm guessing there's no centre stand??

Is there a lamppost or similar that could be used to tie the bike to? Prefereably to such things one on each side?

surely an xr125 is a dirt bike ?
if so it doesnt matter much if it falls over
