Hein Gericke.

Decided to get a Textile Jacket and Leather Pants, the Jacket was £80 and the pants were £150.

I had the jacket fitted with 12mm hiprotec armour and Hein Gericke's own back protector (The soft one).

Really warm, I was surprised how warm the leather pants are.

Got some gloves that I need to pick up as well.

I crashed my ninja wearing a gericke jacket.
The exterior was battered to shite with lots of score marks and abrasion, but my skin was fine (besides my back where the jacket rode up due to not wearing leather jeans dur).
The elbows had obviously taken a lot of damage, but thanks to the squidgey hiprotec armour, I didnt even have a bruise. Good kit in my opinion...

I had that stuff in my leather jeans, held up fine in a lowish speed crash where my knee hit bike, car and kerb. I'd trust it again

I don't understand why HG have to make their leathers look so ghey with the whole "PRO SPORTS" writing on them. I like just a little fancy design with no writing really.

At least the current range of HG Pro Sports gear looks better than last years range.

All those "GHEY" stars everywhere. Sick

I quite like the new stuff.

I've got HG gear. The first jacket punctured the leather over a jip in a crash. They replaced it FOC. The trousers have survived 2 offs with only slight marking. Top kit for the price. and the hipprotec stuff does a great job!

Really should review this stuff:

Jacket: Really really warm, good fit, and useful pockets inside for wallet and phone, not fiddly at all around the next like some jackets, and gloves easily go over the cuffs once they're zipped up. The back protector suits it really well. I couldn't of asked for a better jacket. The best I've ever had.

Pants: Never worn leather before, but far far warmer than any textile pair I've worn, they get dirty quick but get some nikwax cleaner and they come up like new Very Happy Again, nice comfortable gear that zips into the jacket.

Gloves: (Hein Gericke Voyager: £25) Best pair of gloves I've owned as well, they're thin like summer gloves but warm like winter ones, they work well with heated grips.

Just need boots and a lid next ;D

How much was your back protector?
I only had a quick look, didnt try it on but looks quite tough on the arms ect, Lower back had small ammount of padding but that was it.

It was £25 for the high grade hein gericke internal one and I also had the default armour taken out and Hiprotec Gold put in instead.

Ask them nicely in the shop and they will put the armour in for you.

It's £34 for the armour as well so that's £60 in total.

Money well spent tho.

Very Happy I also treated my head to a agv air tech lid, since my current lid hjc zf7 is falling apart, the shop assistant also fitted a fog city hyper optik anti fog/glare thing in the lid for me too. Thumbs Up

Airtech helmets are good, Got 1 at the moment, bit noisy tho but the visor is easy to remove. You also get a rubber chin flap thing that I didn't notice until 6 months after owning it DOH
