PostPosted: 17:26 - 10 Aug 2003    Post subject: 1990 Honda CBR250RR (MC22) Yours For £1300 Reply with quote

so summer leave arrives, and ive told myself its time for a new bike, because i can, so mine is up for sale, spent a year on, its been excellent fun, but its time to move on

im not private selling it, it either goes to someone on here, or someone you may know, or it goes to a dealer, i dont have the time or inclination to hassle around with private sales

havent asked about part ex values yet, so i wont quote a price, just make me an offer and we can talk, here goes..

-Honda CBR250RR MC22
-manufactured 1990
-bought last year from box hill motors for £2750
-im the first UK owner
-25 000 km's
-measured at 45 bhp on the dyno
-top speed clocked at 110mph
-km/h clocks with mph overlay
-33bhp restrictor kit available
-recent new chain and sprockets
-recently taxed for a year
-recently MOT'ed for a year
-clear and tinted screen

i love this bike, and if i had a place for it, id keep it, but i cant really have more than one bike, its great fun to thrash, the redline of 19000 is always a talking point, and sounds absolutely mental with a race can, the handling is absolutely mint, it leans forever and corners on rails

https://www.mauriceb.btinternet.co.uk/bike/cbr250/stockley1.jpg

its in good running order but will require the valve clearances checking soon, there are cracks and scratches in various places on the fairing, but nothing serious or particularly noticeable

so anyone interested?
