I can hereby confirm that while Firestorm sidestands can withstand the weight of a 2-bike trailer on them (with both bike wheels off the ground) Firestorm wing mirrors can't.

the trailer was leaning against the side of the house. it's not as if there's any large panels to act like a sail on a bike trailer, but it's still blown over. Luckily it looks like there's no other damage apart from the wing mirror.

I've lost 3 fence panels on the drive between my neighbour and I. dunno if there's any come down in the back garden, it's a bit dark.. but I can see my windsurfer has broken it's straps and is lying at the end of the garden

The drive's also got a horrible oil slick, where a FULL recycling wheely bin was blown over onto an old oil holder that I was using to hold, um old oil.. and it's burst it. (I hadn't got round to taking it to the reycling center)

Hope the two monstrous trees are okay..

It goes to show how fickle the wind can be - I live just around the corner from Feef, and my empty wheelie bins are still where I parked them, and nothing has been disturbed in the yard either.

I'd have thought that the drive down the side of your house was pretty sheltered...

use cat litter on the oil (the one with fuller's earth in) should draw all the oil out of the drive a bit better than sand does.

went out bought some leathers at discount got back to find my bike on the floor

Lucky the only damage was the footpeg and rare indicator unit but I still gotta pay ..... GUTTED

Go to an industrial supplies and get some oil absorbent (if you spill oil in industry, you chuck this down ove rit..leave it a while and sweep it up...looks like oil doesn't even exsist )

It is far cheaper than cat litter and is basically the same thing (cat litter is basically a glorified version of this)

Where you might spend a tenner on a bag of cat litter...you could get twice as much for about 7.50 or something

Generaly comes in a biggish white bag....places like Arco should sell it.

I know how you feel, i really tied my cover on my bike back at the start of december, only to come home from work last night and find it had blown past 4 houses in the street, and was in the 5th house's garden tree's. we have a camera system as our previous bikes have been stolen, watched the cover fook off like a balloon just after 1pm!
