Hi all, just whent for a buzz then, it's quiet and cold, so no one was out, was down a quiet dead end road where all the "ped bois" arse around, there was no one there so i decided to pull in and practise some wheelies.

First few attempts were utter bollocks, i would have looked a right clown, but they started gradually getting better, and then i did it! Got the front wheel properly up, and into "the balance" for a good 3 seconds! Was chuffed, had another few tries and couldn't match 3 seconds, but felt like i was getting them in the balance, which is the main thing i suppose.

I'm really happy because i think with having a supermoto people expect you to be able to wheelie (or maybe im being paranoid?) can't wait 'till tommorow now to carry on practising Very Happy

Jake.

I can imagine the RS being an awkward bike to wheelie, with the positioning the way it is, well when i rode one i was a bit wobbly! too cramped for me Shocked

i only do stoppies as i've been pulling wheelies and stoppies on my pushbikes since i was about 7 Laughing started being able to wheelie my monkey bike, then my dt, but the senda was a bit stubburn! takes a lot more work to get the front up without revving the balls off it and dumping the clutch.

cheers sparks, yeah i've been told it feels a lot higher than it is, thing that made me think id hit the balance is the fact i didnt rev it out, just dropped the front end as i wasn't expecting a real wheelie!

Thats the one, sat at the traffic lights and chavs come over "that a 125 that lad" "do a wheelie lad i darez ya" how about no Middle Finger lol , the main reason for me wanting to wheelie the senda is because i can wheelie all my other bikes quite well (when theyre running) but the Senda is proving to be a challenge Very Happy

I couldn't stand having a 125 for 2 years. I was only on a 125 just over a month before the sound was overwhelmingly sheep-like.

It was fun though, I do miss it looking back. 140 miles to the tank! Mr. Green

What are we classing as a wheelie as with the gixxer im forever getting the front wheel off the floor ( power wheelie ) , even if it is only a few inches off Embarassed .
And it feels like forever , guess the distance travelled is a fair distance but not had the testicles to try getting the front end right up ,ican just imagine the front end going up and over taking the back end Rolling Eyes

Thanks for all the comments guys Very Happy

CiarĂ¡n, i was in the driveway as i had no front brake at the time (pistons and seals in the calipers where worn) so was definatley not going on the road with no front brake, not only the dangerous side of things it's also because my insurance was void, so the past month i've just been practising wheelies up and down my drive until i've saved enough money for the pistons and seals Sad

Haha.
Fair play mate.
I respect that your playing it safe. Although doing a dangerous activity.
Double negative anyone?
lol

Anywho.

I couldn't even lift my scooter in space that small, guess having the gears and clutch help you pop it anywhere!

Keep it up anyway mate.
