 |
|
Went to adjust my chain yesterday and noticed one of the inside links is broken
Its a D.I.D. 520VM gold chain - X ring i think.
In the handbook it says the chain is : 110 links chain drive with o-ring chain 5/8" x 1/4 continous, so i assume a X ring has been put on inplace of an O.
M&P has a chain for a Yam SZR 660 (my MZ is based on this) and its a "DID Gold H/D X-Ring Chain 520VMx110"
Will this be the same chain ?
Also are all sprockets the same size ? I know obviously there are teeth differences but the diameter and bolt holes, are they the same for every bike ?

I hate to say it, but the best thing is to probably call M&P (or whatever) and ask them.
What bike have you got exactly? To me, "MZ" automatically brings up the image of a big-ish trailie. I assume that the bike uses the SZR engine, which should mean that the front sprocket is the same, but the rear could be different. ____________________ TiN
