Hello All,

Right I have my test date for the end of this month, however I have just realised I have no leather trousers. Anybody with a 34inch waste and regular leg length want to lend me theirs for the day???

Its just that the credit card has taken a beating what with paying for the test and I know I will need to buy some eventually but I would prefer when I could afford it.

It would be very much appreciated and I am willing to pay for hire with sexual tokens (Kev!!!)

Mikey.

You don't have to wear leathers to do your test anymore than you have to wear them when your riding normally.

some places insist on it and although most will have spare lids+gloves you may not be allowed out during training without a bike jacket and trousers.
for the test if that's all you're doing then you won't need anything other than the legal minimum (thong and helmet Wink ) but it's best to check with the training firm first-especially if you'll be hiring a bike as it may have insurance implications.

I don't know of any training places that need you to wear leathers, and it's definately not a requirement for the test

I have just phoned the training centre back and they have said "NO" it is not a requirement you can wear whatever you want as long as you are wearing a Gold sticker helmet.

I asked if a thong was OK and he said whatever you feel comfortable in!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

He said you can not be failed for not wearing leather but the examiners could off the record be a bit harsher on markings as you are putting yourself at risk.

Mike.

ps. Sorry to get your hopes up Kev Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I've just booked my test, it's in a couple of weeks and my instructor said words to the same effect. The examiner might take a dim view of me turning up in my shell suit and jesus sandles. Very Happy Best not upset the guy, I think I'll wear my leathers. Wink

Best of luck with the test matey. Razz
