I am thinking of buying a bike of 498cc and will need to tax it. All my other bikes are taxed as "Historical Vehicals" at £0.00 per year but this is an 1987 machine and the Govt will want my cash, how much a year is the tax on it?

But surely it's easier to type a quick google search than go to the effort of starting a thread on BCF?

Nice, Force Motorcycles have a few, I've always fancied one.

I am after a 500 with a 350 front end.
The 500s are kickstart and that makes em chav proof as the little nobs have no idea how to start them but the drum brake is crap. The 350 has a decent disk on the front so the combination is ideal for a good hack that will have to go to work and will get called on for off road duties and reasonably fast motorway work (untill I get bored of going in a straight line that is).
