Hi all
has anyone used this company?
I was looking at a new BMW m/cycle there yesterday, they were operating from a temporary site which looked strangly like a container, the manager assured me this was due to storm damage at their main premises. They appeared to have lots of stock.
Anyway, some concerns I came away with.
1. How do you feed the octopus in the tank (is it normal to keep one in there?)
2. How long have BMW used salt water instead of brake fluid (and is it actually better as the dealer claims)
3. Although I didnt like the milky colour of the engine and gearbox oils, the dealer reasured me that this was to maintain the level easier....is this correct?
4. Doesnt the water/fish in the speedo have any effect on the reading? I dont want to be caught speeding.
5.I realise that £2500 for a new BMW is cheap, but should I accept the two minute warranty and scuffs to the bodywork?
Any thoughts/guidance gratefully appreciated.
Thanx.
Gullable.

Wotcha.

I've never heard such rubbish in all my born days.
Octopus in the tank, indeed. Shocked

Everyone knows the octopus goes in the topbox.

I take it then that this guy may not be a bona - fide dealer then?

I rang him on his (mobile) number today as his temporary premises on the beach are being demolished by DRS, who appear to have claimed all his stock also..................summat strange here I think.

Anyway, turns out the Octopus IS in the top box.....my mistake.....its a spider crab in the tank.

Still unsure about that warranty tho'
