To be honest I am a little cautious of long distance sales - anyone ever done one? He did mention doing a holiday and picking it up but he also mentioned shipping it out.

Sounds interesting, though i'd be very wary there's a lot of long-distance money scams about.

I had about 4 e-mails from Nigerian money scam people when I was selling the RGV.

Maybe you could chain yourself to the grab rail or something? Very Happy

I've heard of a long distance bike one. Can't remeber the exact details, but they get you some of the cash, then someone comes and collects it while somehow not giving you all the cash.

its best to use a third party in the deal, by this i mean they give the money to somebody and you send them the bike and when they receive it you get the cash.
