Yes the clever boy falls off his bike a puts a small crack in his handlebars and gets all worried!

I am planing to replace my stock handlebars which have a rise of 100mm

The ones i want to replace the handlebars with have a rise of 42mm

What kind of problems could i face if i do this???

Question

lol, ok its for a ybr125 (yamaha) for some reason i had er in my head,
the risers are the bits that the bars are mounted to,
most sports bikes have clip ons (eg they bolt to the forks or are 2 single bars mounted to the yoke)

you don't need any thing except for the bars, 7/8" is standard size
and is whats on your bike,
here are a couple of bars i found on ebay that are cheaper than the ones you were looking at with buy nows, you can get them cheaper if you just want to bid on bars

I am got the bars a bit cheaper (£30) If i'd waited another day i could have got em at even less! Neutral Brick Wall Neutral

Anyone got any idea's on how to remove the grips easily?? As i seem to be struggling trying to even move them, lol

I notice today when riding the bike that the small crack has got a bit bigger (looks bigger), haha i noticed another very thin crack near the larger one, so definatly need replacing!

the one on the right will slide off with the controlls,
the one on the left will require a bit of pulling. (its easier if you remove the switches and what not, then push with a screw driver jammed under them.
hopefully some mug hasnt glued it in place Thumbs Up

£30 gee, you have to work on your ebay stratigies,.... or this bike will ruin you Very Happy
good stuff, i expect pics Mr. Green Thumbs Up
