What famous people have you seen when out and about on your daily business?

I have seen:

Sol Campbell (footballer) jogging in the park when I was jogging. Then on another day at the same time he was chatting to two other blokes at the same place.
Lucy Benjamin (Phil Mitchell's ex wife from Eastenders) in the passenger seat of a BMW of some sort at Piccadilly Circus.
Bob Geldof and some woman (his girlfriend maybe) cycling along the River Thames on the footpath.
Darius (that tall singer guy that carries a guitar everywhere he goes) standing outside Sloane Square station.

There is probably more, I just can't remember them right now.

I'd regularly catch glimpses of musicians on denmark street, I ran into david soul in a pub, I saw the fat bloke out of the office in another pub, una stubbs used to use my post office etc.

The only half-interesting one was when I worked on albemarle street. I used to see john hurt walk past almost every day when I went out for a smoke. Then when I left that job to go to new zealand a few months later, I saw john hurt in a bar at an auckland hotel. I'm still convinced he's stalking me

Hmm, i'm met the Grumbleweeds, Baron Knights and Bradley Walsh. Also met Larry Grayson when i was really little. But they were all at shows rather than just out and about.

Talked to Bradley Walsh for about 15 minutes while he was signing autographs for othjer people. Laughing

Jimmy Nesbitt (shopping in his home town in N.I. with his mum)

Chris Eubank (Driving round Brighton's Laines waving to anyone who cared)

Ian Wright (I actually walked into him, while he was being filmed by a large film crew, without noticing. I'm a dozy bastard...)

Jade Goody (driving around my village, presumably picking up her son from his grandparents)

I walked past John Barnes with his kids in Cheshire Oaks retail park once, seemed bigger than when on tv.

Used to see Carol Smillie regularly in a bistro called Vitelli and Vitelli in Glasgow's Italian Center. It was owned by her husband Alex Knight, and his business partner Simon Littlejohn. I was in there for coffee and a croissant most mornings before heading to class at uni.

Ah, he was in his Hummer at this point (I think they're both sold now due to bankruptcy) and it was bloody hilarious.

I'm sat at a pub with a mate having a nice al-fresco pint with a mate and generally watching the world go by, when he comes past, tooting his horn and waving at everyone.

About 5 minutes later, and he's back, doing the exact same thing, except now there's a fairly fat middle aged woman running along behind him, slapping the back of the truck, and screaming "He's a killer, he's a killer, don't look at him."

Brilliantly, Eubank was still driving along with a cheesy grin, as though the woman wasn't there, and nobody had seen her.

They disappeared out of view, and he didn't come round again. Would have loved to have had the camera phone out..

Johnny Vegas got kicked out the pub where I work on NewYearsEve for being too pissed. At 10 in the morning shortly after we'd opened. I came in only an hour later and was quite dissapointed to have missed him.

I went out on the booze with Johann Cruyff in Pisa, Italy whilst on Holiday. He was sat at the table next to me and my friend as we were having dinner and we got chatting. He was with another chap who we now suspect to be another Dutch footballer. It's funny because neither of us had a clue who he was, me not being a football fan and my friend being a girl. It was only when my friend saw him on TV during the world cup we found out he was one of the greatest footballers of all time!

I should of twigged when he said he played football in Holland and that his son played for Man U but we were all absolutely slaughtered by that time Laughing I have his phone number somewhere...

Oh, I almost forgot, my personal favourite was seeing John Virgo in Boots.

He was stood next to one of my mates, both of them waiting for people to come through the checkout. Me and my mate who were in the queue spotted him, but because he wasn't in a comedy waistcoat, we couldn't be sure if it was him or not.

We came to the conclusion that the only way we could be sure, would be if we sang the Big Break theme tune when we walked past him to see if he'd get excited.

We did so, and it raised a smile, so we walked on satisfied that we'd seen probably the coolest snooker player ever.

However, when we got out of the shop, the mate who'd been stood next to Virgo the whole time, said, and I quote:

"Oh my God, did you just see that??? I was stood next to Matthew Kelly!"

I served a well known actress called Kate O Mara for fags in my shop once.

I wasn't aware it was her until people in the queue told me.

Used to see Michael le Vell and Sean Wilson, (Kevin Webster & Martin Platt from corrie) most weekends as they used to drink in the same pubs as me. Also seen The acters that played Terry Duckworth, Gary Mallet, Sunita. My Mate actually lives in Percy Sugdens old house.
I used to see Kelvin fletcher (andy sugden, emmerdale) quite often.
I occasionally see Paul Scholes (Man utd) driving past, He lives a couple of miles up the road.
I used to be on nodding terms with Vinnie Burns, Who's played for Asia, Ultravox and loads of other bands. Not seen him for years though
