seen at ally pally today, two guys (mid 30's i guess) getting out of a car, heading to the show entrance in fully armoured leather jackets and jeans.

You should have gone up to them and asked them what the fuck is going on.

One reason could be that they wanted to pose on the bikes there in their leathers (that is of course if you are allowed to sit on the bikes).

I went to the NEC by train, in my jacket, jeans and boots. I wanted to buy some textile trousers, so needed to know how they would fit with said jacket and boots. A lot of people go to the shows hoping to buy gear, It's not that unusual.

I went to the NEC a couple of years ago in the car, and was going to test ride the KTM supermotos so I took my leathers etc.... as a change of clothing. I did feel a bit stupid going back to the car at the end of the day, changing into my leathers and then heading back to KTM.

Oh, why did I take the car? To buy stuff, obviously.
