Have i made a big Mistake?

I've recently bought a KR1 thinknig a 33bhp restriction kit could work on it.

After factoring all the costs, i don't think i've made the best move. The bike is brilliant but i think i've bought it at the wrong time.

I'm kind of wishing i'd gone with something like the bike for sale now in the for sale forum (can't remember off the top of my head what it is) for practicallity reasons.

But i really do love my KR1.

Do you think it's worth selling the KR1 on and buying something 33bhp restricted already?

Just ride it. It's not as though you hear of anyone being done for not being restricted.

I'm currently thinking of buying a 400/600 and thinking of not restricting it (even though I'll be on a restricted licience) as Shaggy says, not like you hear of anyone being done for it very often granted your sensible.

They are awesome bikes but I wouldn't want to rely on one for transport. An ideal toy though.

You might want to consider keeping it if it is a good one, they are becoming increasingly hard to come by.

i never had any opf my 33bhp restrictors in and the insurance guy actaully said to me:

"mate if i asked for proof of restriction from every quote i wouldnt have a business"


Just remmber tho, if you crash and you dont have them fit, the insurance company wont want to know.....but the rozzers prolly will!

KR1's are blinding bikes, keep it and enjoy it dude!
