Hi all, i'm new to this forum so be gentle Very Happy

I currently ride a K5 Gsxr600, which, in the time i've had it, has been an absolute blast.
I've just seen a 2002 model Fireblade at my local dealers (954cc i think) which is immaculate condition and got me wanting to upgrade, it has an ohlins steering damper, crash bungs, Akropovic end can, full service history etc.
My question is: Is there anything i should be aware of on this model?, Or anything in particular i should look out for when checking the bike over?.

Definitely worth getting a test ride - might find it's not as much of an 'upgrade' as you're hoping, though depends what you're looking for.
Haven't ridden one or a K5 GSXR myself, but have ridden similar bikes.

I must admit I am getting itchy for a gixa 1000 - next year!

Hi welcome to the forum, also ride a k5 GSXR 600.

Love it, but time for an upgrade have also been looking at blades or a gix thou. But I'm going to get a supermoto first Mr. Green
