claiming money after a crash and court

Very unushual situation here.

I had a chaved out suzuki bar it infront of me last august(car all tinted and plastered in neons) it was soaking wet all i saw was blue fucking glare.

Well he has pleaded guilty to dangereous driving etc. my inshurance have now taken the claim serious after saying its my fault i hit the side of him etc.


WEll senario
sold the bike for £600 thats 1k under book value acording to carroll nash. new helmet £150 (avg) and new boots.

the bike suffered a screwed mudguard bent handlebars, cracked engine caseing(put my foot throught it), and a fair few scratches causing it to be worth next to nothing.

so i am awaiting forms from solicitors am i in the right to claim for 2 weeks loss of earnings £300 for new gear amd 1k for loss of sale value of bike ???

basicaly i braked slid on wet drain and hit the car sideways (car was sideways doing a handbrake turn)

Yeah, you can claim lost earnings, replacement gear, even bus tickets to see doc's. But as for the bike you've sold your evidence there. They might, and probably will, quibble about paying the difference on that one.
