SORN (...again)

I've got an sv650s in the garage that I haven't ridden over winter. The tax ran out yesterday.

I have not recieved a Sorn declaration/reminder throught the post.
I cannot tax it because I renewed my insurance onto a different bike thus no cover note.

How can I declare it Sorn? Or as I'm going to sell it relatively soon, is there any way I can get temporary insurance, just to tax it?

You can get a form from the post office. Fill it in and send it off to the DVLA.

Some companies to PAYG insurance by the month - but it's an expensive way of doing it.

Ring the DVLA, I think you can do it over the phone, I think youve got 2 weeks to do something about it before you get fined

You should have received a tax renewal reminder form through the post. It has either got lost in the post, the bike isn't registered to you or you have moved address recently. That normally covers the reasons why it hasn't landed on your doorstep.
