For those that are interested, i was walking through Manchester yesterday with a few mates when one pointed and said "is that a Veyron coming towards us?!". I just automatically said "no ya twat!" without even looking up... He then says "it bloody is!"

And it was! I was pretty damm excited to say the least so fumbled about with the phone to get this very poor picture (sorry about the quality). Embarassed

Sounds sad but i was really chuffed to have seen one on the streets!

Anyone else seen one on the streets?

SB Thumbs Up

It is probably the Manchester United team pool car.

All the best

Thats Just Amazing! The best I've ever stumbled across is an underground car park full of amazing cars in London somewhere, I distinctly remember two mint DB5's and the rest just seemed to pale in comparison. The M6 parked next to it just looked boring Shocked

i was impressed when i saw one of them! was at a hillclimb down south, you'd expect to see them in a museum but these where being driven hard, which is nice to see.

Where I work we have Lambo's, Ford GT's, Aston's and countless Ferrari's driving past very regularly, the advantage of working on the same business park of a supercar valeting firm.

It does however mean you have to look very hard left before you pull out of our car park as there's a half-decent chance those approaching headlights are off a 200mph supercar!

We had a Veyron at work last year and I haven't seen any other car get so much interest. There must of been hundreds of photos taken as it went up the M6 and at each fuel stop people wanted to take a look inside and ask questions. I've never been in another car that could compare with it, the sound and feel of it when you floored the throttle was amazing.

Woah id love to see one.

Id give my right arm to sit in one and my left to drive one Confused

Didnt think anyone in this country would buy one, £890k worth of car. It had to have special tyres and breaks made for it, can you imagine what it cost to get them changed.

Funnily enough I saw one at about 1.50pm in Guildford yesterday (Thursday) . It was on the one way system heading out towards Millmead. I thought there was a slight chance it was something to do with Top Gear as it's filmed not that far in that direction.

Quite often see Porsche Carrera GTs on the way to work, as well as 911 GT3s etc - but my work is just down the road from the Porsche UK headquarters Smile.

I've seen a Veyron, parked in Chiswick park.

The three owners of Chiswick park are brothers, and they are rich oil barons from Saudi Arabia.

They turned up in a Veyron, SLR McLaren, and a top of the range roller.

Did have pics but seem to have lost them. Confused

So YOU came up the M6 in a 'VEYRON' Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I suspect the one in the pic belongs to either a BBC big knob (the BBC are moving to Manchester), one of the new 'Maga Casino' bosses orrrrrrrr 'Rajan' from 'Rajan Trading'.. He buys every new model of supercar that comes out. I saw him reverse his brand new F40 Ferrari into a lamp post many years ago whilst the 'Stratstone' delivery driver was shouting "STOP STOP STOP"..............'BANG'

Of course thats impossible Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
I work for a prestige car manufacturer which is owned by the same company that own Bugatti.I look after test and measurement. There are people that work for me that spend all day just test driving cars. Whenever theres something a bit unsual I always try to grab a go in it. The car was brought over from Wolfsberg for durability testing and had 100k on the clocks but still managed 0-60 in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 220ish mph. Can't think of many cars we haven't benchmarked, apart from the Mclaren. Last year at one of the group tests, alongside an Aston Martin, Mercedes, Porsche and a BMW was a Daytona 675 and a Rocket III.
